Canada Day...this is a Day packed with Events!

canadadaylogoThe Pioneer Threshermans Association celebrates Canada Day every 1st of July by organizing a fun-filled day for everyone, regardless of age!

Canada Day celebration is one of our biggest event of the year. Our program consists of regular “old favorites” as well as some new and exciting events each year.

Some of the “Old favorite” activities include: a pancake breakfast, followed by a tractor parade, logging events, blacksmithing, wagon rides, sheepdog demonstrations, threshing demonstrations, flour grinding, saw milling and much more!

The public can participate in numerous events such as target axe throwing, log chopping, potatoe shooting, 2-man saw cutting and for some driving an antique tractor in the parade. We have numerous activities for the children such as face painting, a playground, jumping castle, youth games and horse wagon rides.

Every year we try to have some feature event such as a tractor pull, fireworks, miniature tractors, wood carving or a live concert. And of course the museum is open. We have fantastic concession stands with great food.

Come and join us on July 1st to celebrate our pioneer heritage in a friendly atmosphere, we offer a fun and enjoyable day out for the whole family.
